Back in January, when I was planning out my Sherlock parties, I asked a friend with some knowledge of classical music if he would make a Sherlock-appropriate violin mix. Well, he loves making mixes, so he delivered in spades with liner notes and everything. But my favorite part was what he named the mix:

This is quickly becoming the best week ever. First, slodwick made some gorgeous artwork based on Under Control, and now cuddles_and_jam has written some seriously hot porn in that 'verse. Anyone who enjoyed my hypnosis fics at all should go read it immediately. It's insanely hot, and also ridiculously sweet, well written, and hot. (Oh, did I say that more than once?) Just go read it and lavish it with comments.

Eek! Someone actually made me fanart! Go take a look at this gorgeous cover for Under Control, designed by slodwick. It's just lovely, quiet and intimate (and this is praise coming from a design snob). I'm not on Tumblr myself, so someone else will need to go give it a "like" on my behalf.

I just watched the premiere of Legend of Korra, and I am so excited for the rest of this show! I don't have anything particularly insightful to say, other than how much I enjoyed it. I love all the characters they've introduced so far, I love all the little tie-ins to the original show, and it looks like it's going to get deliciously dark later on. Oh, and bringing this world into the industrial revolution? So cool! Anyone on my flist who wants to flail with me?

Claiming is happening at the queer_fest until April 2nd, if you want to go snag a prompt. I missed doing this last year, but before that I had great fun writing for lgbtfest three years in a row. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to participate; none of the prompts are quite calling my name. And if I do write, I'm not sure it'll be Sherlock. Last time I randomly wrote Pretty in Pink fic, and I have to say, I really enjoyed the excuse to try out a different fandom.

Actually, I see that someone reposted a Breakfast Club prompt of mine from years ago; maybe I should keep with the 80s theme and grab it. :)
